After eight years at the helm of Helmut Lang, husband-and-wife design duo Michael and Nicole Colovos are exiting the brand. The two helped transform the line after its namesake designer left in 2005, developing it into a contemporary floor mainstay.

Style.com writes that "the split was apparently a simple, clean break" between the designers and parent company Link Theory Holdings. The resort 2015 collection will be designed by existing staff and new creative leadership will be named in coming months.
