Bow ties with polo shirts on the House floor. God help us. pic.twitter.com/sXrf33hdFF

Our sister site Racked DC alerted us to US Representative Jared Polis' terrible, horrible, no good, very bad job getting dressed on Tuesday. The Congressman from Boulder, Colorado paired a bow-tie with a purple golf shirt and topped the look off with a sports coat, incurring the wrath of GQ's blog "The GQ Eye" editor Dennis Tang.
Tang, inspired, if not offended, wrote, "We can help. You should let us help you. Because seriously, forget immigration reform. Keep this up, and I'm going Ted Cruz 2016, straight up."
GQ and C-SPAN fangirls and boys will be happy to know that Polis is totally game, tweeting later:
Thank you @GQMagazine @GQFashion for the offer to help... I accept and am looking forward to the consultation!!

Apparently, Polis shops at ASOS.
