Bonobos' Women's Line Ayr Launched Today

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Ayr, the women's line from Bonobos, launched online today, revealing its full selection of denim, silk tops, sweaters, and outerwear. An acronym for "all year round," the decidedly minimalist brand will deliver four times per year, always with a buy now wear now ethos.

While rooted in denim—there are three styles with over 50 combinations between inseam, waist, and wash—the debut collection offers a host of options to pair with said jeans, ranging from silk camis to Scottish cashmere sweaters. Quality materials and fit details were of supreme importance to Brand Director Maggie Winter, formerly of J.Crew, and Design Director Jacqueline Cameron, who previously worked at Calvin Klein and Madewell. Click through for a peek at the lookbook, but don't fall in love with the shoes—they're all from Winter's personal collection.
