Much has been made of designer Alexander Wang's decision to show at the Brooklyn Navy Yard this New York Fashion Week. His show on Saturday, February 8 will be held at the Duggal Greenhouse—a massive space that, per Wang, "corresponds very well to this season's creative concept."
The Greenhouse, which The Fashion Spot toured last week, sits on the East River in Brooklyn making it accessible by boat. As the VP of the events company that owns the space explained, "hosts will often organize transportation by water-taxi or ferry for events, and...Alexander Wang will do the same." Wang has not confirmed this statement, but the thought of his boating Anna Wintour and Co. across the stormy waters of the East River is pretty exciting none the less.
