Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

COS, H&M's more minimal, elevated and expensive sister-brand, is making moves in the US, just as its head of business promised back in October. Our sister site Racked LA reports that the growing cult favorite plans to open a 13,000-square-foot store in Beverly Hills later this year.

We're still holding our breath for e-commerce, which was also promised for 2014, but the company plans to continue its pop-up shop action with Opening Ceremony this spring as well, which will be available on the OC site. If this whole post was borderline gibberish to you, here's a primer on the COS brand and here's its imminent takeover plan.
