Taylor Swift snagged a role in the film version of The Giver, which is likely close at heart for anyone who's made it through elementary school post-1993 and is premiering in August of this year. She appears (very, very briefly in the trailer on at 0:44), so while we may not be privy to T. Swift's acting chops quite yet, we do get to see what she looks like with dark hair.
