Buying jewelry can be overwhelming, whether you're a man trying to fulfill some De Beers holiday wish or a woman just treating yourself. There's stone quality, there's the price of gold, everything is so pretty and shiny. Which is why digital marketing professionals Jenna Fain and Emerald Carroll started The Stone Set, a new website dedicated to jewelry education, discovery, and inspiration.
After meeting at Coach, where they were working in digital media, the two New Yorkers came together on The Stone Set last year. The site features editorial content on all jewelry topics, including costume, vintage, luxury, and watches. The Stone Set has four categories: jewelers, where visitors get a glimpse inside the creative process; collectors, dedicated to personal jewelry collections; vault, for iconic jewelry brands; and facets, where Fain and Carroll pen original features about jewelry pieces.
"We have a deep, deep focus on the storytelling of the jewelry industry. There are many jewelry websites out there, some about industry news, and others dedicated to jewelry profiles, but we didn't think there was anything from an editorial perspective," Carroll told us over the phone.
