Roland Mouret is a dress man, known for covering the likes of Victoria Beckham and even Kate Middleton in classic-yet-attention-grabbing designs. And now the French designer is taking his talents to Banana Republic for a 25-piece collection that's due out in August of this year.
WWD reports that the collection will be "grounded in black" with pops of blue, pink and white. But if all that black sounds old hat, don't fear: Mouret told the trade that the collection "will represent the new direction in which Banana Republic is moving. It will have more of a sense of youth."
Also, it won't be all dresses, all the time. Skirts, tops, pants, sweaters and a few accessories will complement the frocks. The price range runs from $49.50 for belts to $165 for a dress.
