Vanessa Friedman, still at the Financial Times, just put to rest those rumors that Oscar de la Renta was searching for a replacement after news broke that Galliano was no longer being considered. According to a source within the company, there is "no search underway" at the ODLR camp. Of course, there could have been a search happening earlier. Or maybe a search is about to start.
