Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

More trouble in paradise for the most controversial magazine cover of the year (not that they should be worried, the #boycottvogue movement didn't get very far). Rickey Spicer, the lead vocalist of a now defunct band called "The Ponderosa Twins Plus One" is suing Vogue for the same reason he sued Kanye last year—he's claiming that "Bound 2" used his vocals without permission. Vogue set their exclusive behind-the-scenes video of the shoot to the "Bound 2" track without asking for permission from Spicer, hence the lawsuit. No word on the suit from the Condé Nast camp yet, probably because they are still figuring out how to say "The Ponderosa Twins Plus One" with a straight face.
