Model: Terry Richardson Offered to Trade Vogue Shoot For Sex

The Terry Richardson bad press train continues with new allegations that the photographer offered up a Vogue shoot to a model in exchange for sex. The accusation comes from Emma Appleton, who posted (and has since deleted) a screenshot of a text that read, "If I can fuck you I will book you in NY for a shoot for Vogue."

The director of communications for Vogue said via email that Richardson has not shot for the magazine for a number of years. The photographer's rep told BuzzFeed that the screenshot was a fake, saying, "Terry did not send this text."

Appleton has since responded to the controversy on her Instagram account, writing: "Let me clear something up—I don't want this attention, I have no desire to become known in the slightest. If the account is fake then it needs to be removed, if it's real then he's a hideous human. I regret posting it because of what it's caused but at the same time (if it's real) then it shouldn't be covered up, there are too many young, vulnerable girls that this industry can exploit. Thank you for the kind messages and that's the end of it."
