Donate $35 or More to the GOP, Get George Bush Sr. Socks

The Republican National Committee has rolled out a colorful new incentive to solicit cash donations: George H.W. Bush striped socks. The "limited-edition" hosiery, which comes in orange, yellow, green and blue stripes, features mini elephants and an embroidered Bush signature.

"Everyone wants @GeorgeHWBush socks!" tweeted the RNC this morning, with a photo of said socks and Bush Sr. looking very pleased (the socks are also "the life of the party"). They're free with any donation of $35 or more.
