What Mara Hoffman and Her Team Wear to Work

New, 5 comments

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Welcome to Working It, where Racked follows street style into the office. Forget pedestrian khakis and button-downs—these fashionable professionals take dress codes to a whole new dimension. Quick, somebody call HR!

This week, we're crashing the vibrant NYC office of the Mara Hoffman team. Founded in 2000, the line—ready-to-wear, children's, swim, and bridal—is beloved for its distinctive use of color and bold prints. Fittingly, the designer's HQ is populated with layers of patterned rugs, a colorful dreamcatcher, and handsome wooden tables dotted with crystals and succulents.

Similarly, the staff reflects the brand's signature aesthetic, but with a healthy dose of city-girl practicality. Check out what Mara and her cool team wear to the office, after the jump.
