Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

When we last checked in on uber-popular blog A Cup of Jo, proprietress Joanna Goddard was looking to hire on editorial talent in order to expand her site. "For the past seven years, I've written every post, which has been wonderful, but I started having bigger ideas for posts and series that I simply didn't have time to pull off on my own," she said. Today, the blogger introduced a new hire, Caroline (plucked out of more than 500 respondents), and revealed that her blog will be transitioning into a, "more full-service lifestyle site."

Goddard looks forward to publishing more of her in-depth, family-focused series such as Motherhood Around the World and Motherhood Monday as well as "new series, which we're already rolling out, such as beauty uniforms, house tours, illustrated questions...and many more coming up."
