The yoga pant trend has fully captured the attention and closets of America's women. Now, it's coming for our country's men. Lululemon is planning standalone men's stores and today, Well + Good brings word that indie yoga clothing companies are coming out with yoga pants for men.
Yogasmoga, a year-old company that launched with womenswear, just rolled out its first round of men's styles—a pant, a short, a jacket and two tees—in a palette of dark neutrals. Founder Rishi Bali said the line was inspired by customer requests. "The men's customer relayed to us that they were looking for performance apparel which was durable in a workout situation and luxurious and stylish enough to be worn all day in casual situations," he said. Response to the men's items has been "tremendous," Bali said, and he plans to continue producing menswear alongside the company's women's items. Meggings, watch your back.
