Kanye Calls Out A Fan's Fake Air Yeezys

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

While doing a little pre-wedding shopping in Paris yesterday, Kanye was stopped by a fan to autograph a pair of Air Yeezys. He consented (!) and then, mid-signature, took a second to point out that the sneakers were actually fake. But, because Kanye is humble and generous, he said "that's fine though," and finished the autograph as the shocked fan stood by, probably processing the fact that he likely paid thousands for a pair of fakes. Now he's got Kanye's signature on them, so maybe it evens out in the end?
