If you are a seller or buyer on eBay, you might want to change your password settings ASAP. Our friends at The Verge report that the massive online auction platform has been hacked. "The breach," they write, "compromised a database containing a list of encrypted passwords that, once released in the wild, could potentially be decrypted through publicly available tools." PayPal accounts remain safe as they are stored separately "with higher levels of encryption." [The Verge]
