Wang said of H&M: "They are very open to pushing boundaries and to set a platform for creativity." Of all the mass retailers doing collabs, H&
Outerwear will probably be killer, given that both parties do it well, and we're thinking the offerings will come with lots of pockets. Wang's Fall 2014 show (right) featured jackets, dresses, tunics, and bags with plenty of front-facing compartments for
Sweatshirt dresses (Fall 2009, Spring 2010) are a no-brainer for the collab—inexpensive materials, beyond easy fit, just toss in an "unexpected twist" or a little leather and call it a day.
There will probably be a ton of great knitwear, since that's what the designer was first known for and, duh, fall. Here are two looks from his debut Fall 2007 show.
The next level of knits? Pre-destroyed knits. These Fall 2009 sweaters would be a hit with the fash-un girl and the born-early-aughts-grunge-revival teens.

The collection of womenswear, menswear, accessories, and "lifestyle" product doesn't hit stores—250 of them, worldwide—'til November 6th, so it may be some time before the formulaic leak: Pieces popping up in leading print mags (June?), an Instagram placement (July?), a single advertising image (August?), a lookbook image on social media (September?), and finally the full campaign and lookbook (October?). At the launch party, Wang said the partnership is "a completely new take on how they do collaborations," so who knows, maybe they'll parcel out info in a new way, too.
In the meantime, here are our wild speculations on what might hit the racks for women's apparel, based on past hits. If you somehow aren't already a fan of the designer, consider this your crash course from 2007 to present day.
