In the world of fashion modeling, being compared to a giraffe by a Vogue stylist is a high compliment. Katie Grand, EIC of Love magazine and stylist for French Vogue, sat down with Grazia to discuss Kendall Jenner's latest shoot with the mag (which Grand styled) and had nothing but praise for the tall, long-necked Kardashian clan member.
Grand was very enthusiastic about everything from Jenner's figure to the way that she walks. "She has long elegant limbs," Grand told Grazia. "She's one of those giraffe phenomenas who walk[s] in and look they were drawn that way." She also spoke highly of Jenner's work ethic and the fact that she's "just like normal girls." You know, except for the fact that Kanye West is now her brother-in-law.
As far as Jenner's modeling career goes, Grand thinks that the celeb-turned-model has plenty of staying power. "She's unique in wanting to turn her back on her celebrity when it comes to modelling, she's with a smaller very respected agency called Society who work[s] specifically with high-end designers, photographers and stylists," said Grand. "It would have been easy for Kendall to go with a bigger agency and gone down a celebrity route but she wants to be taken seriously as a model just like the rest of them."
