Nail art is dead. The BB cream craze is dead. But, in the ultimate feat of attempted trend resurrection, beauty brand ORLY launched BB cream for your nails in the hopes that two trend deaths can still bring new trend life.
So what is BB cream for nails, exactly? Well, it's definitely not meant to be used as a basecoat, topcoat, or with nail color, according to the press release. (The BB cream industry is nothing if not artfully ambiguous about its cosmetic benefits.) Instead, apply onto bare nails for a look that is described as "natural nails perfected." Obtaining these perfected natural nails will cost $15 and the product will arrive in mid-July.
