Back in April, Banana Republic scored big by appointing American designer (and long time J.Crew womenswear head) Marissa Webb Creative Director and Executive Vice President of Design. As part of the deal, Gap Inc. announced "that it intends to join M Webb LLC's minority investors by investing in the Marissa Webb label."
Webb's Resort 2015 collection is her first release since the announcement, and while her designs for Banana won't hit stores 'til next summer, there's plenty here we hope she'll adopt for the mall brand. After the jump, suiting, dresses, and an oversized gingham that would translate nicely to BR.
