Elettra Weidemann has about 10 different projects on her plate at any given time, from modeling on international covers of GQ, Elle, and Marie Claire to being named a contributing editor of Self for 2014. At some point along the way, in the middle of obtaining a degree from the London School of Economics, Weidemann was struck with the idea to launch ImpatientFoodie.com, a food-focused website that will act as a diary of all of her foodie adventures, from searching out meals that only use in-season ingredients to building her own garden in Brooklyn.
The site launched this morning with three recipes that don't call for kale and don't have a calorie counter in the sidebar, so we'd say it's off to a good start. She welcomes readers to the site by saying, "My Impatient Foodie blog is built on a struggle within myself: When it comes to food I want to be good (I really do!), but sometimes it feels like being good is a total pain in my ass and a major time drain." We feel you.
