Like many women and most likely the majority of her readership, Allure EIC Linda Wells is constantly in search of the beauty holy grail. In a new interview with The New Potato, she discusses her extensive morning routine (it involves serums and wearing an SK-II eye mask during breakfast) as well as a dramatic, and recent, diet shift.
When asked how she practices beauty from the inside out, Wells goes into detail about her day-to-day eating habits. "I've been a little ridiculous over the past year and gave up meat, chicken, dairy, gluten, sugar, and artificial sweeteners. I eat a lot of fish, vegetables and quinoa. And, yes, that makes me a cliché. I work out about five times a week. And I try to get seven hours of sleep a night, because that makes the biggest difference. That said, I cheat on all of the above." She also mentions that sugar and alcohol are the worst for your skin.
