The Federal Trade Commission has accused Made in the USA Brand, LLC for handing out false Made in the USA certification seals to American brands. According to the FTC, Made in the USA Brand, LLC would willingly certify brands with the Made in the USA seal without independently checking to see if each brand qualified for the seal. Instead, they relied on each brand to certify themselves. [FTC]
