Amazon isn't the only one getting in trouble over its proposed drone plans. The Federal Aviation Administration is also cracking down on wedding drones. Haven't seen one of those yet? It's a new phenomena where drones are commissioned to do everything from take photos to deliver wedding rings during the big day. One intrepid wedding photography company has recently added the drone to their package offerings.
One person so far has been investigated for employing a wedding drone—New York congressman Sean Patrick Maloney, who actually sits on the House Transportation and Infrastructure Aviation Subcommittee which oversees the FAA. The Atlantic reported that it's likely that nothing will come of the investigation since the FAA doesn't have the power to enforce the drone policy right now.
If you're willing to take your chances, a wedding drone goes for about $400 for a 30-minute session that will yield five mindblowing aerial shots of the wedding, according to the company that's currently offering the drone package.
