When it comes to winter boot shopping, there are a lot of things to consider. How warm the boots are, for one. If they're waterproof and if they have non-slip soles. If they make your feet look like a hairy goat.
Designer Hedi Slimane of Saint Laurent has managed to nail that last one. His 'Patti' boots retail for $1,995 and, if Net-A-Porter is telling the truth about quantities, are almost sold out in all sizes. Because if you're a person who willingly pays $1,995 for winter boots, then you're also the type of person to say, "fuck it, make mine with excessively long goat hair." Each pair is crafted in Italy as if that makes it any better.
Questions: 1. Are they warm? 2. Do you feel fancy? Do you? 3. How best to groom them? (Feel free to ask your butler.)
