In 2005, Blake Lively starred in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. Unfortunately, she was also wearing this. Let's take this from the top. A cropped, sequined, baby pink, sheer top that does absolutely nothing practical. Fine, it's 2005. Layered on top of an aqua blue (undoubtedly the hot color of the mid-aughts) spaghetti strap tank. Who knows, maybe there's even a shelf bra built in to that cami. Her low slung belt that, very proudly, refuses to go within the loops on top of low-rise ripped boot cut jeans. And they're rolled up. Last but not least, light pink pointy toe kitten heels that are not quite the same shade as the belt. Those shoes are both toe-crushing and soul-crushing.
Takeaway: the effects of the early/mid-aughts spared no one. Not even the former muse of Karl Lagerfeld.
