Hey America! Guess what?! The mum in the above video, who dressed her kid up in a Hooter's costume for a beauty pageant, isn't American! She's British and on a British doc called Blinging Up Baby. So that's the good news for the USA. The bad news is that she used "Hooters is popular in America" as part of her reasoning for dressing her kid up in a Hooters costume for a beauty pageant. Oh.
More of her thoughts:
Some people may say it's controversial, especially the theme I've chosen, but at the end of the day, little girls wear swimming costumes to the beach all summer, and that's not a controlled environment. The environment my kids go in is a controlled environment and it is ticket-entry only.
Slash on national television slash on the internet slash it's a costume associated with an ogling man chicken boob butt bar! Parenting!
