Lucky Magazine scored a major get with a cover feature and interview with Solange Knowles a whole two weeks after the Met Ball elevator incident. But unfortunately for Lucky and fortunately for the singer/songwriter, the August issue has dropped well after the world has basically forgotten that anything happened. In internet years, the brawl went down like 12 years ago.
The article addresses the incident nonetheless, but doesn't uncover anything new. Following the underwhelming family statement, her personal take was just as diluted into a vague assertion that everything is "all good" now. She told the mag, "What's important is that my family and I are all good. What we had to say collectively was in the statement that we put out, and we all feel at peace with that." That's it. They preferred to focus instead on the evolution of Solange's style, her new home in New Orleans and other fluffy topics. Thankfully her outfits are bright, fun and super cool. See those below.
