New TSA requirements were announced over the weekend, stating that all passengers on US-bound flights must be able to demonstrate that they can turn on their electronic devices while going through security to prove that the gadgets aren't explosive devices. If devices are without power, they won't be allowed on the plane. "This is not something to overreact to or over-speculate about," Secretary of Homeland Security Jeh Johnson said during an explanation of the new requirements. Try telling that to the person who just had their iPhone confiscated. [CNN]
