'Tis the season for denim deliveries. J.Crew has rolled out ten new jean styles for fall, including pieces added to their namesake line, their premium Point Sur collection, and a pair of collabs. All of the new styles are available in sizes 24 through 32, and range from $114 to $288. (Save twenty bucks on a new pair of jeans by bringing in an old pair to recycle—the retailer has partnered with Blue Jeans Go Green, which turns used denim into eco-friendly housing insulation.)
The J.Crew Denim range gains the Look Out High-Rise ($115 to $125, in four washes), which is their Toothpick skinny with a higher rise. The style is done in Turkish cotton, and J.Crew says the result puts "the slimming power of your favorite body-shaper into one major pair of jeans." The Reid Jean ($114 to $158, in five washes) is also new, essentially a few extra inches added to their Reid Crop, to create a full-length version of the slim, straight fit.
Point Sur newness: the Hightower Straight, Vintage Cropped Selvedge, and Epic Skinn.
Point Sur, J.Crew's in-house premium denim line made in LA, adds three new styles in six new washes for fall: the Hightower Straight, Vintage Cropped Selvedge, and Epic Skinny ($198 to $288).
McGuire styles: Gainsbourg and Gotham.
In collab-land, they've teamed up with both NYC-produced 3x1 and LA's McGuire. From 3x1, there are three high-rise options, all skinny, including a crop and a "channel seam" style ($195 to $245). McGuire offers up two slim jeans, called Gainsbourg and Gotham, both priced at $228.
