Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

HBO Girls' Lena Dunham walked the Emmys red carpet in a dramatic Giambattista Valli pink ombré gown. While the rest of us were enjoying the show, Christian Siriano was looking into his archives, "remembering" a dress he had made for the Spring 2010 collection that looks oddly similar to the one made by Giambattista Valli. Siriano just couldn't wait until Thursday to throw it back and Instagrammed the runway look. Shaaade.
