Workwear behemoth Theory has chosen to partner with flash sale OG Gilt on the release of their fall 2014 runway collection. Launching today at noon EST, the selection of coats, suiting, and dresses will be available on the site before it's in stores.
The fall collection was designed by Olivier Theyskens, who exited the brand in June of this year (his work for the brand will trickle through spring/summer 2015). According to anonymous sources, his designs "failed to ignite sales on the store floor." And now they're on Gilt, before they're even on the store floor, an interesting tactic for Theory, and not a bad get for Gilt.
