New Australian brand The Fifth Label, christened the "next Zara" thanks to its gentle pricing and mix of high-fashion and basics, is heralding a return to a tried-and-true fall/winter boot: Timberlands. In her most recent lookbook, designer Amy Hicks styles nearly everything with the clunky shoes, including dresses, shorts, ruffled skirts and sweatpants (that last one is truly advanced-level).
Timbs have recently been embraced by the model set—Jourdan Dunn and Cara Delevingne, among others, are fans. Will they be next season's version of the rubber shower slide? They are certainly practical.
