What does it take for a Gap T-shirt to make it into Opening Ceremony? Looks like a collab with an avant-garde art magazine will do it. The third installment of Gap x Visionaire's T-shirt collaboration is available for sale on the so-hip retailer's site, and each tee is just $35. For this latest installment, Visionaire asked 16 artists to create limited-edition crewnecks with original artwork and photography themed around gold foil and photo printing.
The results are a little more trippy than Gap's current "Dress Normal" campaign, from a spikey porcupine by artist Alexis Rockman to a gold skull from artist Craig McDean. According to Style.com, the Visionaire x Gap Gold Collection was released on September 4 with a special installation at the Gap on 34th Street in New York.
