Fendi's $1,750 Keychains Sold Out, So They're Making More

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Judging by the Fendi show that just took place in Milan, Karl Lagerfeld is nowhere near done with those outrageously expensive Fendi keychains. If the new batch is priced the same as the Fall 2014 collection, the furry monsters will cost around $800 each and the more desirable "Karlito" fur balls (mini stuffed Karl Lagerfelds) will start at $1,750. And, in case you haven't lost faith in humanity by this point: The first collection sold out before it even hit stores.
