Lifetime has announced that Aubrey Plaza, best known for her role as April on Parks and Rec and for being the patron saint of dark weirdos on the internet, will voice Grumpy Cat in upcoming holiday flick Grumpy Cat's Worst Christmas Ever.

The film will follow Chrystal, played by Megan Charpentier, as she befriends Grumpy Cat, who goes by the cat's actual name Tardar Sauce. Chrystal can hear her speak; friendship and lot of bummers ensue.

Aubrey celebrated her new role by tweeting this:

The pairing is perfect for a lot of reasons: They're both curmudgeon virtuosos, doyens of hag-dom, sultans of grouch, etc. They also both like cats, as evidenced by this tweet and the fact that Tardar Sauce is indeed a cat. Still, Amy Poehler cameo or bust.

Grumpy Cat's Worst Christmas Ever premieres on November 29 at 8pm EST.
