Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Karl Lagerfeld, Chanel designer and prolific fashion human, has lent his signature white ponytail, black and white suit (with tie), and those tiny, tiny fingerless gloves to a Barbie. This is not the first doll made in his image and it will not be his last most likely. Too bad Beanie Babies aren't still happening because just imagine.

No word on price yet, but 999 were made and she'll go on sale during Paris Fashion Week at Karl Lagerfeld boutiques, Colette, Barbie Collector, and Net-A-Porter. There is no Choupette Ken doll yet, but someone draw up a petition and tell us where to initial.
