Carrie Underwood Announced Pregnancy Via Dog T-Shirts

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Carrie Underwood's pregnancy announcement was executed through t-shirts for her two pups. The tees, which debuted on Instagram yesterday, read, "I'm going to be a big brother" and "I'm going to be a big sister." The country singer captioned the photo, "In honor of 'Labor' Day, Ace & Penny would like to make an announcement. Their parents couldn't be happier..."

That might seem cute at best or insane at worst to most, but true dog lovers will understand that there could be no other way.
