A third boob, in this economy? Something smelled fishy, and it wasn't just the breeze floating over Tampa. Jasmine Tridevil, a Florida native who claimed to have grafted a third boob to her body (to the tune of $20,000), has had her chest story debunked by WTSP 10 News, Tampa Bay's CBS station. When asked to lift her shirt and expose her tri-breast, Tridevil flashed an appendage that looked more like stuffed beige pantyhose than human skin. She refused to offer a longer look, promising that video footage of her central breast and surgery (which was 'recorded') will be on her self-produced show—which she hopes will be picked up by MTV.
Plastic surgeons agree that the breast appears to be a scam, one that was quickly embraced by the internet. Dr. Dan Greenwald, who was interviewed by WTSP 10 News, cites concern for Tridevil's mental health and believes she may be "psychologically lacking." The Daily Dot consulted other plastic surgeons who agree that Jasmine Tridevil's third boob is a hoax. Plastic surgeon Dr. Matthew Schulman, who has performed many breast augmentations said, "I would be happy to go on record claiming that this is a falsified story and essentially not possible."
Additionally damning: It has been determined that Jasmine's real name is Alisha Hessler, a massage therapist at Alisha's Golden Touch, whose website lists her as a "provider of internet hoaxes since 2014."
