Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Melissa Rivers has given her blessing for E!'s Fashion Police to go on without Joan Rivers, according to The Hollywood Reporter. And the paper reports that Kathy Griffin is a front-runner to replace Joan. Melissa will be involved in the selection and will continue to serve as executive producer of the show. But E! only has a few months to choose a new host. Fashion Police will return in January in time for the Golden Globes.
