Ooh, New Shots of Alexander Wang x H&M

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Two things are becoming very clear with each Alexander Wang x H&M reveal: to get on board with the collab, you must a.) hate color and b.) love logos. The first look—similar to designs from the Alexander Wang main line—came from Vogue Netherlands, and the second appeared on Rihanna. Things take a turn for the weird, though, with a new reveal courtesy of Elle.

Model-of-the-moment Hanne Gaby Odiele poses in the clothes with the designer. Everything she's wearing in the shot above is part of the collection (with the exception of the T by Alexander Wang pullover). In the photo below with Wang, the jacket, gloves, and belt are all from the collab.

Update: Both Wang and have released additional images, which are included along with all other leaks in the gallery below.

Update, Sept. 26: The October editorials are leaking in over at the TFS forums and there's plenty of new shots (and pricing information) to share. Vogue Australia, Germany, UK, and the Netherlands all have spreads dedicated to the collaboration, and American Elle printed more shots from their own feature, which was partially released online earlier this month.

From the copy, we learned that the collection will feature 38 styles in total, most of which are featured in these leaks. All the editors were enthralled by the performance accessories in the collection—we had already gotten a look at the boxing gloves and yoga mat embossed with Wang's logo, but there's also a trophy cup which Wang nicknamed "the shot glass" included in the line up. Vogue UK noted that the menswear collection was worth shopping as well since most of the pieces were unisex, which was demonstrated in the collab's ad campaign that just dropped.
