After developing a great interest in Kabbalah, Gwyneth Paltrow is reportedly converting to Judaism. This shouldn't be a surprise; she's been hinting at it for years. In a 2006 interview with The Guardian, she admitted, "I really am a Jewish princess!" She recently told Jimmy Kimmel, "I am the original Jewish mother," referring to her tendency to cook way too much food. She's determined to raise her children in the Jewish faith, which was rumored to have contributed to her 'conscious uncoupling' from Chris Martin.
Gwyneth's father was Jewish, and a look into her ancestry revealed that she comes from a long line of rabbis from northeastern Poland named Paltrowicz.
