A New York Fashion Week moment of silence has been planned in honor of Joan Rivers today, Monday, September 8. It's scheduled for approximately 1:15pm EST.

Rivers died on Thursday at the age of 81, after being put in a medically-induced coma following complications during a vocal cord surgery. Joining Rivers' family at her funeral on Sunday was nearly every person she ever incisively quipped about via the Fashion Police, plus many others. For those not able to attend, make a note on your Google Cal, and don't forget to bow your head this afternoon, if for just a few moments.
