Perhaps Alessandro Michele's incredibly quick redesign of Gucci's new menswear collection has paid off. WWD reports that Gucci is expected to announce tomorrow that Michele will indeed be the brand's new creative designer, taking over for Frida Giannini, ousted former creative designer. Michele is currently Gucci's head accessories designer and appeared on the runway for the men's collection along with 12 members of the design team.
