As reliable as an equinox or a solstice, there are two times a year when the shopping bug bites hard and newness is needed stat. One of those times is now, deep January, when it's absolutely ludicrous to truly consider spring clothing (it's barely on the racks, anyhow) but the thought of a coat purchase (despite the sales) is suffocating. This moment is where Forever 21 comes in.

We pillaged the notoriously cheap, trendy retailer and came back with six pieces that we're actually really excited about, like the perfect baby blue crossbody bag to work some lightness into the tail end of winter, and a very cool (very convincing) faux-leather jacket.
