Those Tom Ford rumors can (sadly) be put to rest. After weeks of speculation, Gucci announces today that head accessories designer Alessandro Michele is the brand's new creative director. He's got some big shoes to fill but he's proven capable of churning out an entire collection in one week, so all is probably under control. Michele's new direction for Gucci will be clear in just a few weeks with the presentation of the women's fall 2015 collection.
