Squint at Zooey Deschanel's Possible Engagement Ring

According to Us Magazine, newly-pregnant Zooey Deschanel and Jacob Pechenik announced their engagement yesterday. But from the looks of this vaguely creepy, very zoomed-in photo of Zooey snacking in a parking lot all the way back in December 7th, the two have been engaged. It's a shame that we have to do this sort of tenuous sleuthing. Newly engaged couples (and especially newly engaged celebrity couples) should have some sort of tracking devise in their official engagement rings that automatically updates Facebook with pictures and exclamatory emojis—which is basically the premise of Minority Report if Minority Report was a romcom.
