Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Social media/ecommerce platform VFiles will open Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week at Lincoln Center with a show dedicated entirely to designers, stylists, hair, makeup artists, and models from the VFiles community. VFiles has already staged four VFiles Made Fashion shows, but the crew usually shows at edgier venues than Lincoln Center. And this is the first year that that all aspects of the show's production have been selected from the VFiles online community.

To choose the team who will show at VFiles Made Fashion, each submission was reviewed by the VFiles editorial team and a group of mentors like Style.com's editor in chief Dirk Standen and Rihanna's stylist Mel Ottenberg. Designers at the February 11 show include New York-based menswear designer Ximon Lee, poppy Australian designers Di$count Universe, New York designer Andrea Jiapei Li, and Zurich-based designer Julia Seemann.
