Chrissy Teigen to Birth Legend-ary Baby

Everyone's favorite fun-on-social couple is having a baby. Chrissy Teigen revealed on Instagram that she and John Legend are expecting their first child together Monday evening. She captioned her post, "John and I are so happy to announce that we are pregnant." In addition to an inevitably awesome bun in the oven, the sweet-voiced singer and Lip Sync Battle co-host are the inspiration for a sitcom. Chances that their child will be written into the script are good.

The model has been open about the couple's struggle to conceive in the past, getting emotional on Tyra Banks's FabLife talk show almost a month ago. Teigen admitted, "We would have had kids five, six years ago if it happened." She continued this sentiment, with a twist of optimism, in her announcement Instagram post:

As many of you know, we've been trying to have a baby for a while now. It hasn't been easy, but we kept trying because we can't wait to bring our first child into the world and grow our family. We're so excited that it's finally happening. Thank you for all your love and well wishes. I look forward to all the belly touching!

That baby is in for some excellent lullabies and wing dinners.
